Hi,
I haven't played SH5 for a while so I was surprised to find that there is a new interface. You have to type in your e-mail address and then your password before you can load the game itself. In the old interface you could disable the Uplay bit and start the game. Does anybody know how to disable this new one. I find it really annnoying. Thanks.

i havent played SH5 in a while either but i dont have to type my email and password every time

Enter Your Email - Password, then click on the little black box under Email (Remember me) and then login.

just come back from hols to find the patch, game will not load goes to uplay then have to put in password which i forgot rest password everything ok, today its not will not load ubi servers down. How to keep ruining a game 2 years on

Click on options and check the offline mode check box. Then enter your password, and you should be able to play even when ubi servers are down :up:

In your uPlay settings have you selected "always start uPlay in offline mode" ?
If not, this should sort your problem.

Can't get past Uplay
 

Just used TDW's generic patcher (no mods, yet), but cannot get past the Uplay thing. I have the disc, not the steam version. I've tried everything here. Not being interested in playing online, I just want Uplay to go away. Even after logging in to Uplay (whether "Always start Uplay in Offline Mode" box is checked or not), SH5 does not launch.

Any ideas?

Did you go into uPlay options, choose 'activate a product', and enter your cd key?

Apparently I did so sometime in the past since SH5 is listed as Uplay enabled.

No other ideas? Looks like I'm headed for the uninstall/reinstall routine.
