Mod soup question

Here's my soup.
WAC 4.1
WAC 4.1 Realistic Hull Damage
M.E.P. v3
M.E.P. v3 Visual Sensors for WAC 4.1
Flat Sun Fix for WAC 4.1
No Jawhol
FM_New_Interior v1.0
FM_NI_Fix for_WAC_001
FM_New_Interior_v1.0_Blue Conning Tower
FM_New_Interior_v1.0_Blue Interior

I'm wanting to add MaGui F, and MaGui Fix for WAC 4.1

However, It wants to change, among others, the Command.cfg. Will doing this mess up the New_Interior? Can I copy and paste the New_Interior Command.cfg on top of MaGui and still have that mod work?

If not, what's the best GUI for the New_Interior mod?

Thanks for your patience. I know I ask some dumb questions, but I'm kinda new at this.

What you need to do is open both Cmd.cfg files in NotePad and compare them side-by-side. This way you can see exactly what gets changed from one mod to the next. Then you can make a third one combining the two to get exactly what you need.

You may find that both are the same. JSGME warns you that one is about to overwrite the other. It doesn't actually read the document to know exactly what was changed. If they're identical then you can just click "Sure, go ahead and overwrite the thing. I don't care!"

^What he said!

But I prefer WinMerge (free too ) over NotePad. Since it highlights the differences in color. For and easier handling.

I did that and they are different.

MaGui: [cmd135]
Name=Rise_Whole_obs_periscope
cxty=1
Key0=0x2D,c,"ctl+ins"

FM_NI: [cmd125]
Name=Rise_Whole_obs_periscope
cxty=1
Key0=0x4f,Cs,"Shift=O"

This compares 1 of 6 entries.

I guess I'll find a Gui that works with FM_New~

Thanks for your help.

That just means that you need to use Ctrl+Ins to raise the observation periscope with MaGui and Shift+O with FM interiors. Minor difference and shouldn't affect gameplay.
