A whole evening of full concentration on the game!

The family is away, the working day is done, and I have six hours all to myself! Finally I have some time to play while able to concentrate fully on the game :D:rock:

Royal Navy here I come - you better guard those merchants and tankers real well tonight, otherwise down to Davy Jones's quarters they go! :/\\x:

Every now and again I get the whole house to myself for an evening, and I always make big gaming plans.

Then I boot up the PC, check FB, Subsim, emails, Steam - see what others are playing.

A while after all that I decide on the game - any game, and start it up. If it's a recent game then you can be sure there will be a huge patch that I'll need to play. If it's an old game you can be sure my previous save will be corrupt, or I'll find the latest graphic drivers aren't compatible, or . . . :/\\!!

Eventually I give up and put a film on.

Good luck with your evening, if you're anything like me, you'll need it. :O:

I've been there, too. But this time I was lucky, I had a near perfect gaming session - the only thing missing was a nice convoy battle. :arrgh!: And the other thing is, that after staying up late, I now have to go to work with way too little sleeping time behind me. :dead:
