SH3 widescreen problem
 

Hello, I have a problem with my resolution. I'm playing on notebook with 1280x800 resolution and because of this I can't play SH3 properly. I downloaded GWX 3.0 about month ago and some widescreen fix also. I don't remember what was it but i managed to run a game with some weird looking icons and empty spaces on one side of screen BUT I could play without big problems. Now I downloaded SH3 Commander and when I started game, this app installed some kind of new icons and by the way it changed my resolution.
So I downloaded two fixes:

Both don't work. After installing them and changing resolution in d3d9.ini to 1280x800 (otherwise it says on start "can't start 3D engine" or something like that) I ended with this:

As you can see I don't see full depthmater, time compression and date which is veeeeery annoying. I didn't have this problem before I installed SH3 Commander. I would like to play with this program so please help :( I don't remember how i did this so I could play without this issue. Before it looked like this: (sorry for paint, I don't have any screenshot :/)

If someone could help me so I could play like on last screenshot (this edited in paint) I would be very grateful :)

The old GWX-Widescreen mod only renders 1280x768 properly.
And the recently released GUI GWX Classic renders 1360x768 properly.
And as you can see, your resolution of 1280x800 is a bit off...for both mods-

All custom widescreen resolutions may swallow one or another part of the Interface!:yep:

Yes, but still somehow I made some changes (or just downloaded right fix) which allowed me to play with everything on screen and just one black space on one side which is better than playing without TC and date and only half of depthgauge. The thing is... I don't remember what I did :/\\!!

Except for the fact that month ago I tweaked a certain fix so I could play without bigger problems... :hmm2:

There is still the DX9HiResFix left, but it will stretch the image. And is no real wide-screen.

You can use some really big resolutions, but like i said it only stretches.

Tried this patch and indeed it stretched image like here
I will try to configure something like I did month ago. Maybe I will succeed again and share it with you so others could play on 1280x800 :sunny:

Please do share if you find the solution again. I too would love to saild in 1200x800.:salute:

YEah, I have a nice 1920 x 1080 screen, but the only way to enjoy SH3 is to play in windowed mode with a 1024 x 768 window, and then use the zoom control on the screen to get a bigger picture.

Which it looks great, but it would be nice to be able to get it to run in my screen's native resolution.
