any good books ?
Hey guys I'm looking for a new book to read whats some of the best sub books I should look for ?
|
Non Fiction:
The Submarine by Thomas Parrish Blind Man's Bluff by Sontag and Drew October Fury and Hostile Waters by Huchthausen Fiction: Anything by Michael DiMercurio or H. J. Riker Typhoon by Robin White (I've also heard the novel Typhoon by Mark Joesph is also good) Dangrous Ground by Larry Bond (I also recommend Red Phoenix even though the submarine stuff is only a minor part. This book is basically Red Storm Rising in Korea.) I remember I had a good time reading Final Run by David Meadows |
I am reading right now "Azorian", by Norman Polmar and Michael White. Really a fascinating book about K-129, USS Halibut and the the salvage of the former by the CIA.
Also, I agree with TLAM Strike recommendations on non-fiction books. Regards! |

Fiction? Non-fiction? More technical? More reference? What time frame? WWI, WWI, Cold war, Current? Am sure that among the members here we have read pretty much every submarine book ever written. :D If you give us your interest, we can better recommend books. |

I just remember the tunnels at the beginning of the story.

Did you ever read "Red Army" by Ralph Peters?
