SH III changes and programs
I want to seriously change with mods, more ammo, more torpedoes, I already changed ships and planes with no weapons. Which editor is the best to do these changes. I have SH3 Commander, but I cannot open my file??? GWX something I need? Okay I just want to cheat.... Help! :o
|
GWX is the most rounded of all the supermods. I voted for SH3 not because it is the best overall game (I believe that should go to SH4) but because it has the best mod coverage. Commander is one of those reasons.

I concur with Sailor Steve. I love the ability to customize SH3 and I'm in awe of GWX3.0. The last time I played I used GWX2 and either my memory has faded (very distinct possibility) or v3.0 added a whole host of excellent features.

GWX3.exe I down loaded, but wants disk 7??? Where am I missing the boat? Ah get it 'boat'. I already have SH3 Commander, I been to the GWX website...HELP!
|
Did you download the 7 BIN files that go with GWX?
|
all seven, okay I will do that tomorrow, anything else?

+1 Another vote for Silent Hunter III, here.
As far as your request for mods to cheat:rolleyes:...Well there are some of those mods in the Downloads section, if you take the time to look. However, most of the folks here are on the opposite end of the scale; making the game realistic enough to be grogged by the stink of the diesels.:Kaleun_Wink: |
I love SH III and voted for it, but the rest are good too in different ways. Also, +1 to whoever voted for SH 1. Retro gaming is cool!
Now if I could just find the Commanders Edition, my SH collection would be complete. :) |

Maybe GOG will get it eventally? After all, they already have SH II :hmmm:

I got the GWX, but to start a new career it wants me to get rid of all my men? For the crew it says "0" for needed, like officers 5-0, 5 too many...

Too bad GOG doesn't have DC. |

Heck, why not have all of them in one package! SH I CE - V :o Now that would be great indeed! There is wishlists on GOG, perhaps some of the members on here could vote for them, GOG does listen to its users. Have a look at this thread I took part in for an old RTS game called Earth 2140. The Windows XP release GOG had was broken, but because people highlighted it GOG took action and secured the (fully working) DOS version. Here have a look, http://www.gog.com/en/forum/earth_se..._catalogue_gog Now you guys are really passionate Sub Sim fans, to me at least, It's very likely Ubisoft dropped their restrictive DRM because of you guys. If you group together and start a thread on there, maybe GOG will listen too? |
