Info about ESM (UAE / s3000)
 

Hello all!

I am investigating about certain ESM gear that US sold to UK for Operation Corporate (1982 South Atlantic War), for use in some SSNs.

It looks like the gear was UAE / s3000 / SANDMAN (look here: http://books.google.com.ar/books?id=...klands&f=false )

I don´t have any other details except this Friedman book. Anyone have info about the gear (either in the US or Royal Navy) and what submarines used it?
