Mubarak jailed for protest deaths

Not suprising really, especially as the west kept him at arms length after the initial trouble commenced.....I doubt he had many friends near the end.

An Egyptian court has sentenced ex-President Hosni Mubarak to life in prison for complicity in the killing of protesters during last year's uprising.
The 84-year-old is the first former leader to be tried in person since the start of the Arab Spring in early 2011.

I'd rather lie in a hospital cot than run the risk of taking a shower :DL

I don't think anyone in Egypt was particularly surprised about Mubarak getting jailed.

The aquittal of the others though... :hmmm:
