New player : To LWAMI, or not....?
 

Hello all!

I will be playing DW very soon. I will install the 1.04 patch immediately. Should I start with the "vanilla" version of the game, or should I go straight into LWAMI? I am guessing the 1.04 patch fixed most of the earlier bugs in the game....or is the LWAMI experience that much better?

Also, should I install most of the sound mods?

I will mostly be playing single player sorties; I would enjoy multiplayer but as I have children I think my time for that is limited.

Hi and welcome to DW :DL.

I would advise you not to install any mod (RA or LWAMI) until you are a little more familiar with the sim. Both mods alter the sim heavily and you might be confused if you consult the manual and the sim behaves not always like it is described there...
