Why suddenly are these tunnels news they have been common knowledge with those serving in South Korea for many years.I heard plenty of guys that had been stationed in South Korea and had gotten the chance to take the military only DMZ tour they where told about the tunnel networks and this goes back at least to the early 90's.
I think the only way you could get into to North Korea would be with a specially trained South Korean operative.Seems like they are wanting the tunnels to get more public attention outside of South Korea I think it is a ruse. |
I say they should send in sean penn! He'z got the diplomatick skillz.

They should all come home anyway ... that place is going to be too hot to handle if the North launches anything that resembles a weapon at the South.
Troops can use the tunnels to hide in till the radioactive cloud goes away. Turn the DMZ into a park with plenty of room for defectors to cross over, exchange food and goods to show the quality of life in the South compared to the North. |

Their bombs are still at the 'fat man' stage and could only be loaded aboard a specially modified Il-28, cargo aircraft or put in the "nose" of a Sang-O class midget submarine. |
