The Brompton

This is the queer British bike!

This is the queer British fun!!

This is the queer British ADVENDJA...!!! Very good story!

I love these bikes, they are FAN-TAS-TIC. I have none, but my parents use them. Great quality all over, well designed, robust, quick to handle. And you can ride surprisingly fast with them, if you haven't tried it, you won'T believe it. They cost more than other folding bikes, but they are worth it. If you want a folding bike - this one, or none!

When I've been frequenting cycling fora recently before buying my new bike the Brompton is a big hit, especially with those it was designed for - the commuter. If I lived in a city I'd probably have one, but I don't so I don't see the needfor one for me living in the sticks.

I think you should borrow one of your parents' bikes and head over to the next Brompton meet. :D

On rare occasions I have borrowed one indeed, though not to go for a Brompton meeting.

If i had free money and would consider buying another bike, I also probably would go with a Kettwiesel in weather-proof touring configuration, Kettwiesels are extremely comfortable to drive with, and also more agile and fast than one would think when seeing them the first time, their name (meaning chain-weasel) is very well choosen. :) But that would cut deeper into my budget than I can afford. Here are some Cross-Kewttwiesel-drivers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5567FDvkw1c

:DL A recumbent tricycle! Then all you need is a small electric motor . . .
