Torpedo load-out?

Again same bug as in vanilla... I choose load-out of 50/50 T2 and T1 type torpedoes for day/night attacks and next time I look at it they are all T1... this is really annoying...

I believe if you start the mission after you select torpedoes, they will stay as selected.
If you don't start a mission, (exit career and then come back) then they will go back to default load-out.

I'm not sure though, so maybe someone else can confirm or have some other explanation?

Yes, there is a default load out set in a cfg file. If you don't check each time you start a mission, it returns To that load out.

Well guys that's... how should I call it and not be kicked out of the forum... I do have other obligations as job etc. ... so if I save game at the sea, I'll get default load-out?
BTW a few minutes ago first hit with the RAOBF... I couldn't use my usual hydrophone methods for plotting because some patrol crafts were around... nice device... I like it :-).

Gargamel 05-27-12 06:12 PM

No, only when you start a new patrol, If you don't specify a load out, you get the default.

GT182 05-27-12 08:26 PM

If you save while at sea, what you picked for a loadout before you left on your mission will stay the same.

Shkval 05-28-12 02:48 AM

Well that's what I'm trying to tell you... torpedo load-out had reset itself somehow...

Osmium Steele 05-28-12 07:21 AM

That happened to me about a month ago.

Saved at sea during a patrol. When I returned to the saved game the next day, they had all changed to T1s. Not even the normal default loadout.

Hasn't happened since though.

Boys, boys, boys. There is a simple answer for this.

BERNARD!!!!

strikes again.

(sounds like a "hopefully one time only??" glitch)

Shkval 05-28-12 09:24 AM

Well that happen to me more than once... so bottom line - no cure.

nutworld 05-28-12 09:43 AM

sorry to hear that Shkval. I was hoping it was a one-time thing. I wish I had solution's for you.
