Yeah I ran into that same problem about 2 months ago...Someone ;) made the newest version available to Sailor Steve and was put on the Download list.
Go to Downloads and at the top bar of Nav. click on Utilities and see JSGME and other tools to work with. :D I think the link for the read me is still down though |
This happened some time ago, and some time ago I put it into Subsim Downloads.

To cut long story i will stick to cars and get someone who knows computers to have a look ;)

Okay, let me hold your hand while we do this.
1. Unzip the file (you've done that). 2. Take the folder out and put it on your desktop. 3. Open the folder. Move all the files into the SH4 folder. 4. Double-click on the JSGME icon to run it once. 5. If you like, right-click on the icon and select 'Create Shortcut'. Move the shortcut icon to the desktop so you can run JSGME without digging into the SH4 folder every time. 6. Take any mods you think you might like and put them into the MODS folder that came with JSGME. 7. Run JSGME. The mods will appear in the left-hand column. You cant then click on them and select the arrow to move them into the right-hand column. They are now activated. OR... You could read the file inside the folder that says 'JSGMEHelp'. It would have explained all this for you. |
But make sure you have the mods folder in your SH4 directory. That is the only folder from JSGME you want in the directory. The rest of the stuff goes in there like Sailor Steve said.

Not a problem. I'm not very good with computer stuff and I sometimes forget that there are others even less experienced. If you run into problems along the way feel free to ask more questions.
