New Patch??
 

Was there a new patch I wasn't aware of? I was running 1.2, and logged on after finally updating my mod list and it says patching. I x'd out and uninstalled my mods and now when I launch I get a CTD.. wtf.

Let it pretend to do its "patching" and you ought to get right to the start screen. There is no patch beyond 1.2. I just tend to ignore the "patching" splash. It only takes a few seconds after all.


If that doesn't fix it, reinstall. But when you've reinstalled, be sure to start the game from the CD splash screen "play" option the first time. Don't start it up by clicking on the sh5.exe in your install folder. After that, it should behave normally. Just give it a few seconds.
