Locked/frozen game when talking to the Gunner in eletric motor room

This has happened twice now...but I get a locked/frozen game when I try and talk to the gunner all the way aft on the boat. End up having to ctr/alt/del to get back to windows. MODs are in my Sig.

Ahoy finchOU
I had a few problems in the stern roon as well. One Freeze up Ctd trying to talk to the Gunner.
Since I loaded Antilag ; D3D9 antilag v1.01 the problems have ceased. I believe that the Freeze up is a framrate overload or something like that. The Antilag mod smoothes out framerates and has several simple adjustments. Again, I rarely have any CTD's anymore and I think that one of the reasons is this mod.
I wish I could point you to it, I think it's in the downloads section also in the mods forum.
From the "Antilag"read me file:
D3D9 antilag helps to reduce input lag (esp. with the mouse)
in Direct3D 9 games by limiting the amount of frames that
are rendered ahead by the video card. It can also limit
the framerate for smoother gameplay and reduced cpu/gpu
utilization.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!!!...I'll look into it!! Anyone know of a way to program your video card for it to work best...but not Overclocking?

Also, I forgot to add that sometimes Shift+u works as a reset (if your game is still taking key hits by that time. I'm still looking for the line to the D3D9 antilag v1.01.
