Realism/Difficulty settings in TMO/RSRDC

Just loaded up these mods, very excited. But --- although the TMO User Guide says that the "hard" campaign setting gives manual targeting with map contact updates, I get manual targeting *without* map contact updates.

Why? Is this a feature of RSRDC?

Would like manual targeting, while keeping map contacts. Is this possible?

Thanks much --- tried reading through the 257 pages on TMO thread but ... failed.:-?

Mods, you are welcome to move this thread if it is more appropriately placed elsewhere.

Thanks!

When your in the captains office place, where you fiddle with the subs crew and torpedos, mouse over one of the things on the shelve on your left. Itll allow you to change difficulty.

If they follow the path laid down by SH5, I sure hope not, as it probably will be even worse. I would be happier with an officially reworked SH5, absorbing most modifications made by the users community.

I hope so. But it should be PTO and it should be done right.
