S3d Editor works or not?
After I've played the game well, I thought to myself that it is time for modding.
First I tried something simple: torpedoes. For this I used the s3 editor and files. Torpedus US.zon and sim- After I created a backup copy of this I began to change the values ***8203;***8203;a bit to see how they affect and whether it works at all. Torpedu_us.zon (I used the 3rd column for the Mark 14 torpedo) 6: AmmoDamageInfo MinEf = 500.0 MaxEF = 560.0 AP = 700.0 Min Radius = 100.0 MaxRadius = 200.0 Torpedo_us.sim (Again, the 3rd column) 6: amun_Torpedo Type = Mk14TorpUS depth = 1.8 max_drive_angle = 135 blast Impulse = 8000.0 Since I had backups, I copied the two modified files in the lybrary folder and started the game. I shot a torpedo in an allied boat and nothing had changed. Now I have tried it with jesg mod enabler. I have created a new folder and copied the files and Torpedos_US.zon Torpedos_US.sim and activated mod. It still does not work!! What did I do wrong and what can I do better? |
