Need some help.....
 

Hi to you all, New to all this. I have bought S.H.3 and have been trying to get the 4.1 update patch for the last few days to no avail. When i download it and try to install i get c:\programfiles\ubisoft\silent hunter 111\anim.act:unknown version. Can any body wise me up or give me a clue as to what is happening.Many thanks in advance...See you in Brest!!!!!

Depending on your version, you probably already have the patch. Just play SH3 for a while, if there is check box when you see a ship or a plane, something along the lines of "Remember this action". If you see this, you have the patch, and you can sink 'em allies:arrgh!:

Hi U.570, I dont get any pop ups like that, Only the ship spotted one..

On the ship spotted message, in the bottom corner should be the "Set as Default Action" box. This is only in the latest patch.

Look at the lower corner on the right of the main menu screen. If you see v 1.4 then you have the patched version.
