IJN submarines wish list
 

I want to know if these submarines have been done and if not if someone could put them into game, not only as IJN but also German and US playable. I don't know what mods if any give these as playable if there are any. but they look like really decent submarines and would be a waste if left out.

If these have been added, then can someone tell me how to make them playable on US side and German side Thank you. and also what mega mods should i get. I'm looking for good long campaigns and a lot of dangerous missions. I like escaping from sub chasers. it's such a fun thing for me :DL

Just looking at the subs on the game, i'm relatively new to silent hunter 4, and was wondering how to make the viic/41 playable on the US side. it's the only sub on the game that have an interest in. I like the german subs more than the US ones, and want to play with a VIIC/41 throughout the game.

How would i do that??

Given it's relatively short range compared to fleet submarines, a Type VII in US hands in the Pacific wouldn't be all that useful.

I don't think anyone will mod a type vii/41 for the US side. It is a German sub after all. You can always play the German side (either SH 3 or SH 4).

That's the problem, I don't have any mega mods so the German campaign isn't that advertising, seeing as it starts in 1943, not 1941.

I want a long campaign, but I don't know what mega mods gives a better German campaign. I'm also a little disappointed that there is not British campaign as well.

Is there any way to Add a British campaign that covers the entire war??

Operation Munson give german campaign from 1939, but I've don't understand what's campaign files structure, i don't know well english even german language :cry:

I'll try OM, also does anyone have any idea why the stock german campaign only has 1-2 submarine choices. I thought they had more?? or did they mass produce one type as i've seen the VIIC but the one given at the start of german campaign doesn't have the net cutter on the bow of the submarine. how do I get that. is it added later on as a piece of equipment??

no idea of german naval history of WWII,hmm? look, there were only the Type IX/long range submarines available for operations in the pacific and along the us coast, besides some "milkcows" of no combat value. the latter type xviii is only a "What if"-gimmick for fun,none had ever been built. and the net cutter was a wwI-relic, which was removed soon after the war started, since it increased water resistance.

Did you Google that you WW1-2 Dictionary lol. Anyway. 2 questions, OM has different downloads depending on what you want to play. I have SHIV with U-Boat missions, Can I download 1 thing and just play or do I need to download more than one thing?

Second is there a Model of the VIIC that has the net cutter that I can download and are there any skins to download as well?
