95th Anniversary.
 

April 9th is the 95th anniversary of The Battle of Vimy Ridge, 9 to 12 April 1917.

Although the assault was just a part of the larger Battle of Arras, it is consider as a defining moment in Canadian history. Four divisions from all parts of Canada fought together for the first time.

Four members of the Canadian Corps were awarded the Victoria Cross.
