1st Flot. Weddigen in Wilhelmshaven ?

Howdy..

Doing a 1st Flot. patrol now in a IIA from Wilhelmshaven. According to uboat.net this Flotilla was based in Kiel and and later in Brest and did not patrol with a IIA but a IIB in the beginning. Curious...:hmmm:

No result with Subsim thread search or do I need glasses ? :|\\

Using SH3 Commander 3.2 and GWX 3.0

Are you playing the stock game? In GWX the 1st is indeed based at Kiel. With SH3 Commander you are even limited to the historical boats. :sunny:

Yep...Playing GWX and SH3 Comm 3.2. Looks like some cfg files are messed up? Or maybe I changed history..:o
I play with two profiles. No problems with the other one.
I think I start a new career....

Thnx

Now I am confused: When I look in the description of SH3 Commander 3.2 of the 1st Flotilla Weddigen it says:

06-39 to 07-40 - Wilhelmshaven
08-40 to 09-44 - Brest

:hmmm::hmmm:

Boompus 04-02-12 11:23 AM

GWX also says that Wilhelmshaven the operational base was of the 1st Flotilla Weddingen in the beginning of the war. So.. uboat.net must be wrong ?

Did you apply the SH3 Commander patches for GWX? There is a known compatibility issue involving home port locations and assigned flotillas and the dates do not match without the patch.

I found this one...
Flotilla Mod 1.0 (for SH3 version 1.1) (27.4 KB)
Posted in 2009.
I cant' find any SH3.2 patches...

Where does GWX say that? GWX3 and SH3 Commander start you in Kiel. I've started new careers dozens of times. Take my word for it.

Weddigen and Wegener are in Kiel. Saltzwedel is in Wilhelmshaven. Period.

Any more arguments?

http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/951/weddin1.jpgHowdy..
I did install the GWX3 / SH Comm 3.2 cfg files. Must be something else I didn''t do right I gues..
Looks like the stock config

Perhaps I should re-install the whole thing..
Never questioned your knowledge Sailor Steve :salute:

That's weird. Sorry. It was the uboat.net reference that set me off. I don't know how it assigned you that screen. I always start the game through the Commander interface. So I'll say a different "trust me" - use GWX and Commander. You won't regret it. :sunny:

I couldn't believe that uboat.net would make such a failure. So it had to be something in SH3. Well..Wilhelmshaven is not so bad to start a patrol in a AN grid SE England :DL GWX / SH3 works fine for the rest. I think I let it be and do some Happytime hunting .. Thanks for the replies :salute:
