Everyboy run. Look what I got

Can't wait to pick this baby up. 73 honda 450 been waiting on a bike like this for that price for 3 years. We've looked at it and it seems all it needs is a good carb cleaning...or at most a rebuild and a battery and I'm ready to go

:yeah:Cool!
Seems in very good shape and after a good clean up and some polish she'll even look better

my dad used to own a CB550 and now owns a Goldwing GL1000 K2 ('77) for more then 30 years now.
Honda bikes...yeah they'll last :yep:

Very cool, looking forward to hearing how the carb rebuild goes. I had to pull the carbs off my '75 GT380 six times before I got them right (but I have to admit, I did not have much experience with MC carbs previously).

That's a really sweet bike!

My roommate had a CB650. Great bike and took a bunch of abuse. Just kept on going! Have fun with it!

I will!. Lol called my dad, and he already has a battery and carb rebuild kit in the mail. He takes his bikes SERIOUSLY, and apparently does not waste time. Actually I think he's happy to have a project again after his resto on his 62' sprite

Good news! I learned to ride on a Honda 50, graduated to a 125 and then a 400-four. I currently own an '82 Kawasaki 750, but it has been laid up so long that I may never afford to get it running again. So I'm trying to save my beans to get a Honda 750 Nighthawk, but what with also trying for a new computer and a car of some kind, I may actually never ride again.

Thar we go :arrgh!:http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y14...1/DSCF1090.jpg

im working on getting the carb to work right still, i got the whole manual and lots of XP on working on my 83" XR200R which is pretty much the same engine so lets see how it goes.

also turns out its a 82 not a 79

Heres me racing my XR...

i love racing the old bike against the modern machines. brings out the smiles on the older crowds and the bike dosent do bad at all:yeah:

this was my 1st race and i got 5th out of 14 racing in my class.
and this with a broken clutch cable i fixed at the pits on my 3rd lap and after giving a broken down rider a ride back down from the hills

Nice Bikes I-25!! :arrgh!:

oh also, Small Update: Mommy is ANGRY. but what did we really expect!? I spent 450 on it and she acts like I went out and got a hyabusa or something. Oh well...shes all like "your brother wants a bike, but he didn't get one" (but thats because he wants a newish Ninja, which costs about $3,000 and good lick paying $450 for one like i did)

I love my life. I think I live under a microscope because I'm the only child to move out.

I-25 04-03-12 04:12 PM

I got my XL for 100 bucks even running:D

Nice trailer indeed. Would be proud to own one of these, too! :yeah: Must be a completely new feeling to enter a turn now, eh? And so white it is, you just washed it before taking the pic, right!?
