Hitting the correct spot.

When manually aiming the attack periscope, in order to hit the exact spot you are pointing the cross-hairs at, is the course plotted the instant you click the fire button, or is it taken from when the torpedo leaves the tube?

IF you have the tube open and IF you have all the values right.
then the torpedo will hit exactly where the crosshare was when you hit the fire button

It's plotted from the instant you take your hands of the periscope, or stop fiddling with the TDC dials. ;) But yeah, like Bosje said, the closed torpedo doors create a delay on the torpedo launch.

p.s. Also, when your boat stops turning, if it still did. Since the torpedo path is completely relative to your course.
