It is a very useful tool, when playing at 100% realism, I hope like all you...

This chart it based in a NYGM 3.6A and IABLShipsforNYGM_New mods

The desing of the chart is the commander "Raduz" of his great tutorial "Hydrophone Hunting Tutorial", thank you for landing :yeah:

This is an excellent chart, CapSea, that must have taken a lot of time and work to construct.

It contains ship type, years of use, tonnage, propeller type (! - it must have taken a long time to work that out), maximum speed, and speeds in knots corresponding to different rpm of the engine. Brilliant!

You have listed all the ships employed by NYGM 3.6 with the added NYGM subset of merchant ships taken from IABL's merchant fleet. However, most of these ships will be used also by players of other super-mods, so your chart can be used by anyone who wishes to identify ships by their hydrophone sounds.

Excellent work, CapSea.

Other users: please note that the chart is supplied in '.ods' format, and will require Open-Office (a free word-processor/spreadsheet package) to open. Neither Libre-Office (3.5) nor Microsoft Excel 2007 will open it. However, Open Office can save the chart in an Excel format, which can be opened by Excel itself or by Libre Office.

I shall place the Excel version on the NYGM web-site here at SubSim shortly.

Download CapSea's Excel file from here (see my last post):

(Opens with all versions of Excel after 1997, and Open-Office and Libre-Office.)

Thank yours words, Stiebler, but the sounds of ships(propeller) are the same in others super mods, but de rpm change, only the original ships of shIII will have same rpm.

I have made anotrher char of Megamod "24F GEWEIH v1.8", this char included all ships of "MFM-Interim-Beta_NYGM", but i have to check if sounds are same in two mods.

Hi Mates;

I update de char rpm/speed for NYGM mod.... in the new char alll ships are identified with yours real names...

Example, in the mod are four "Largue Cargo" only one have a Merchant Propeller, rest have a Liberty Propeller, now appears in the chart yours real names "LB01", "LB02", etc...
