Personally, I haven't been able to play mutliplayer ever, never ever never. :stare:

I always get the same "unexpected error" no matter what I do.

There's no router involved, as far as I'm aware. I'm in my university dorm and all I have to do is plug an ethernet cable into the wall :woot:

I can connect to other games just fine. SHIII multiplayer has never worked :down:

Check this out, it may help you configure the correct port.

Also ask your university if they are using a router.

Unless yours is the only Internet connected computer at school, you're usin some form of a router.
