Cannot Install Patch 1.4b
 

Hi everyone. After a long hiatus from playing this game, I got a newer system and want to install the GWX pack. As per their instructions, I tried patching the game from the Ubi site. When I tried to run the patch, I saw this:

I installed a clean version of the DVD which came as a 2-in-1 with SH2. I opted not to install Game Shadow, as I can conduct my own updates. I downloaded the patch for the retail DVD from Ubi too. I know the window states I am installing v1.3, but as indicated in another post, that is only a typo from the devs. I can't figure out what the problem is.

One thing I suspect is that it is already the correct version. The game I bought shows v1.4 . Is this actually 1.4b? I only bought it last year.

I am running Windows 7. My computer is more than capable of running the game.

Was I supposed to download all the previous patches individually or something?

If your game shows 1.4 then you're up to date :up:

Yep, current retail versions of the game are already fully patched to v1.5 whether sold on disk or download. So you should be good to go, no patching required. :yep:
