3.7cm flak problem

I would like to ask what is wrong with 3.7cm flak shells?They never hit anything but explode near aircraft but this explode doesent damage them.I played U-flak and upgrade it to 3x3.7cm M42 zwilling then Catalina and B25 attacked me.I fired up all M42's the shell always exploded near plane but it didnt damaged it.I know that best defence is to submerge but i want to have some fun shooting down planes.If i choose 2cm flakvierling they always hit the plane.The crew isnt the best,but could i change it in files?

You're using flak rounds,trust me,they could be useful,but if you don't want them,just select the AP shells...if there's any.
