realisim settings
 

hey all
having a problem changing the difficulty setting in the game. I start in options, select want I want but once the game is going none take effect.
Is there a step I'm missing? can you only do settings at the beginning of a campaign but not once you have already started? any help will be much appreciated....

Yep. It's a bit "tricky" the way Ubi decided to let you do it, but here goes:

First, from the main menu, start a career. Don't bother with the settings at this point.

Then, BEFORE you actually start your patrol but are still in the sub pen, change your gameplay settings.

Then go on patrol and your new settings will be in effect. If you want to confirm, you can save in the sub pen before starting your patrol and re-load your save to check.

so, I'm already in a campaign, when in the sub pen, before starting patrol, esc, options, change settings, resume game, start patrol. sound right?
