RIP Ralph McQuarrie
 

You might not have heard of him but he was the concept artist and illustrator on films like Star Trek IV, the original 3 Star Wars films, Close Encounters, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Cocoon, ET, Total Recall, and the original Battlestar Galactica series.

He was 82. :salute:

All this good stuff usually starts with pencil to paper.

Oh yeah name is definitely well known in my book from his work on SW.


RIP good sir, your talents will surely be missed.

His concept work on Star Wars is amongst the best I've seen.

RIP Ralph, the galaxy far far away won't be the same without you.
