So we have this dinner thing going tonight and I want to amuse our guests with my limited mixology foo (Oh yes, they will laugh http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/pict...pictureid=5377). From what I've read a shandy is half-and-half beer and cider. I wonder if anyone here knows of any special recipes, certain mix proportions, etc...

...or we could just spam the thread with more beer talk (That's basically the point anyway). :D

If you want to get plastered rather quickly then try this
Lager snakebite, Stella and Strongbow cider

Depthcharges are fun. Drop a shot glass of whatever hard liquor you like into a large glass of beer then down the lot in one go.

A cordial is like a watered down syrup and is concentrated in the flavour strength.

I mix peppermint cordial with my dark rum.

Since we have more experience with submarines than with depth charges, we call the drink "Uboot" here :know:
In my region it's made with Jenever in a 0.2 liter Alt beer glass.
