SH3 GWX keycommands for SH4
 

So I was wondering if anyone made a mod or something for the SH3 GWX key commands. I am so sick of pressing enter and it firing a torpedo. lol

Most of the big mods change the fire torpedo command to some other key or use alt.

I my self use the F key for firing torpedoes and the Enter key is for Time compression to normal.

To do this go to Silent Hunter/ Data/Cfg and open commands file with notepad. Look for command 6

Name=Time_compr_normal
Ctxt=1,2,6,9
Key0=0x0D,,"Enter" Change this line to read like this.

Than go to command 313 and change it.

Name=Fire_torpedo
Ctxt=1
Key0=0x46,,"F" Change this line to read like this.

The normal time is right next to the other time compression keys, to pause the game hit Enter than the - key.

The F key is right next to the other torpedo keys.

As I'm right there I also disable the E key for Emergency surface.

Search the mod section for the mod which makes the SH4 key map resemble SH3. Even better get Jimmymadrid's key mapper for SH4 and map the entire pad the way you like.
