What's with that website? I try to read the article, the site locks up. I click to close it and it closes Subsim too. Not happy!

I used to enjoy watching that show and I liked many of the Monkee songs too.

I enjoyed the re-runs when I was a kid. My wife was a huge fan, even has the box set of the show on VHS.

They're actually one of the few bands I've seen in concert. Mid '90s, in Austin, sick as hell. Great time!

They just don't make bands like that anymore.

I see what you did there. :O:

Should be noted that some of L.A.s best studio musicians played on their early records including guitarists Glen Campbell, James Burton and Louie Shelton. Also drummers Hal Blaine and Jim Gordon [Derek and the Dominoes].

It was good clean fun.

RIP Davey.

RIP Mr. Jones. Always loved the show as a kid and still have their music in my collection, pre-fab or not they put out some great pop records back in the day. As noted above they started out with some quality talent in their corner as far as songwriting and recording and it showed.

Well, not exactly. They did resurrect, Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper and Snorky and the Tra La La song in 2008
