I Want Some Tails...

I have recently "upgraded" to TMO_2_5, but see only the ships' icon, without any "tails". If I recall correctly, somewhere I saw there was a mod that restored the missing tails. Any idea which it would be and where I can find it..??Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I think that subject of restoring contact tails got covered not too long ago...

If you actually open and read the manual / documentation included with the mod you'll find the FAQ and all the information you seek.

Try using your subs sensors, on screen the X mark & pencil to track your target(s) instead.

The only good thing about tails is that they provide you with a rough idea about ships course right from the very first second. I understand that some people prefer this, although I don't understand why. In real life, first thing you would see would probably be some smoke or a mast head just above the horizon. From there it would take several observations to decide target course and start moving the sub around.

After all this is a simulator not an arcade game.

I'm well acquainted with plotting and determining target course and speed which are required for manual targetting. It's just that I'd been running RSRDC over several months now, and got used to seeing the targets and my boat with tails....

No big deal, I guess.....

Thanks for your input, guys...

Gus.

Wern...Surprisingly, none of my mods (TMO & RSRDC) have that "Gui" folder...So this solution was a non-starter...

Sorry for the misunderstanding Deephunter. My response was strictly in reference to Torplexed's clever little "Klick klick" banner. I goofed and didn't mean to confuse you.:salute:
