Dead In the Water For No Reason!

This has happened twice now. My sub suddenly goes dead in the water for no apparent reason, usually when I'm submerged. Figuring my batteries need recharging, I surface and try and run on top, but the diesels don't work either. Any ideas?:06:

What are your fuel and battery levels and what mods, if any do you have installed?

Fuel and battery levels read full, and this is the stock game...no mods installed. (Speaking of mods, is there a mod that will give me the correct medals, by any chance? I found one, but it was attached to a bigger mod. I'm just looking for a medal mod for the stock game.)

As stated, deactivate Battlestations, you've worn your crew to the bone and they refuse to do anything but sleep.
