Ships sinking on even keel
I'm very partial to GWX3 but I've noticed over the years that I don't think I have ever seen any ships sink with any kind of a list. They always seem to go down on a somewhat even keel. I know that, yes, they will sink somewhat bow or stern first depending on where they are taking water but they never seem to list to port or starboard. I'd like to see a few roll over every now and then. Every time I torpedo a ship and see where the eel hits, I already know how it will sink. It needs a little more variance. I think the stock game had more varied sinkings and maybe a couple of the other megamods as well. Is there any way to change this in GWX? Thanks!

I've actually posted about this before. I'm assured ships do sometimes 'turn turtle' tho I'm still yet to see it myself. I've had a close one now and again, thinking my poor victim will capsize but the bugger always seems to settle :haha: Best regards. Fubar2Niner |
It doesn't happen often, but...

Thanks for the confirmation Steve. Photographic evidence is usually never around when you need it :haha:

The photographic evidence proves it. I guess it does happen. Maybe I've just been extremely unlucky. :hmmm:
I still have yet to hear/see any of those underwater mammals as well.. |

http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/a...Name/hood6.jpg Yes, that IS the HMS Hood. http://i874.photobucket.com/albums/a...g?t=1306457174 Countless merchants sink by the bow due to the way I like to hit them. Like these convoy stragglers. What I would want to see is a ship's hull break as it sinks. Bow raises too high to be supported... off she goes! |
