Periscopes TDC 1.2 problem

So I downloaded and installed the mod, and it shows up in the periscope view but pressing Z like it says to do does nothing. Well it does when im in the TDC window, but the periscope still does not let me modify the TDC. Bit frustrating. Any pointers

sort of a bump, was wondering if anyone had any better mod for getting the TDC in the periscope.

I just changed to NYGM and I believe it does. I started in early 1940 and was given a new U-Boot with a 120mm deck gun, a heavy AA gun and a light AA gun. My new sub has twice the torps as a VIIC.
