What name do you use?

I use the name of either Karl or Robert Wolff.
If I run two careers, one in a Type II and the other in a Type VII. I call it the brothers tour. See who makes it the farthest.

What name do you guys use?

von Kinderei 02-09-12 02:46 PM

I use Engelbert Endrass

I posted a thread awhile back about this

I'm currently running three careers. The name for each of them was supplied by SH3 Commander.

... top man, my hero!

Herr Limpet 02-10-12 01:00 AM

Georg von Trapp
Mythically suggesting that the WWI submariner actually chose to accept a commission in 1938 instead of taking his family to America after the annexation of Austria.

The upside is, our crew can carry a tune on those long patrols. :DL

Same as my username :) I recently read the book 'Steel Boats Iron Hearts' and he seemed like a good guy who earned the respect of his crew.

Bingo.

Peter Cremer 02-10-12 04:05 PM

I usually use either Peter Cremer or Wolfgang Luth.

Fubar2Niner 02-10-12 04:43 PM

Martin Warg at present, out of Kiel, patrol 4, Oct 7th 1939. Running just one career. When I die, and I will, I'll prolly pick another SH3C generated name :salute:

Best regards.

Fubar2Niner

Sepp von Ch. 02-10-12 06:05 PM

I use always the same name as my username (Josef von Posorschitz or Sepp von Posorschitz) and my foto with U-Boat hat and badge and U-Boat blouse in SH3 Commander:arrgh!:

Best regards from U-552 - Galloping ghost at the American cost.

The current name I'm using is Johann Kaufmann. I'll use that name in different careers but if I'm [he] is killed I won't use it again. I don't know, it just doesn't seem right.

RConch 02-12-12 08:05 AM

And no one uses the name-Bernard?:O:
I know we all sail with him.
:salute:

Esanssi 02-12-12 09:32 AM

Joseph "Jos" Berker set sail from Kiel on August 1st, 1939 on his first own U-boat command. :salute:
Running just one campaign at first. I'm guessing Joseph won't have racked up that much tonnage at the end of it. :O:
