Das Boot: the Dream
No really, for the first time in my life I dreamt of one of my favourite films (I have dreamt of Star Wars and Star Trek before but well that was long ago and I can't recall them).
It was odd, the U-96 was tied up next to a tender (not the one in Spain) - when some car - cop car brought in a sailor accused of fighting. Not anyone I recognised. Then I was in the conning tower when the Kaleun (Jurgen Prochnow the only familiar face) met an old friend who was lauding him for being an ace-he then got mad and said something about the crew. I can't recall more except ahem both were wearing quivers with arrows. Yes you read that right.:har: That's all I recall. Did I mention I have been feeling a bit ill lately (acid reflux)? Did that have something to do with it or I am just going nuts??? :rotfl2:  Maybe I'll have a better dream tonight-just not you know getting sunk in the Gibraltar strait or back in St. Nazaire :Kaleun_Periskop: |

I also do, from time to time...:rotfl2:

Kinda like Tron, but with SH3.:haha: I guess that will come out in therapy.:hmmm: |
Ooh, a Tron-skinned VIIC, that'd be good. :yeah:
For the non-realistic bunch hereabouts. :D |
When X-wing first came out I spent an entire weekend 14hrs+ a day playing it. when I went to bed on sunday and shut my eyes i could literally see and hear the TIE fighters flying round my head, lasers and all. Cool I thought.
quite a few years later, my friends and I played Goldeneye on the N64 for about 2 months solidly, not leaving the flat. When I finally did go out i had to concentrate hard to not start running in open areas, hiding behind walls and wandering where I'd left my AR-33 etc... now that was a bit worrying. Good thing I don't have epileptic predisposition. note to self : if you play computer games for too long your life can and will morph into a computer game... :o dreams are just the start. |
Lucid dreaming sounds like the route for you

I wonder what Freud would say about men dreaming about long, cylindrical craft that emit projectiles... :hmmm:
|
hmm, all the dreams I remember revolve around having sex with some hot babe...:hmmm:
|
Well guys, the funny thing I haven't played SH3 for maybe 6 months?? SH4 the last patrol I did was before Xmas so I don't know. Maybe it's the accumulation of my playing for a few years intensely when it came out in 2005. Hey I had pretty cool dreams based on Civilisation back in the 90s when I was playing it.
