Nice to be back
Nice to be back guys! Has been about 5 years or so and I was posting under a different name (which I forgot), so I created a new account.
I used to play SH3 with the NYMG mod and SH3cmdr, manual targetting and everything (fast 90 method). Love this game I have been in the navy myself and I think it's great. This time I decided to install the GWX gold mod, because it's a complete package and it involves all aspects of the game. Also I think the ship damage model is very well done as a ship can be destroyed because of structural damage aswell. Not done downloading yet. Still need SH3cmdr and I'm very interested in H.sie's (and others) Realism mod. Played a couple of patrols still got depth charged for 10 hours in the Bristol channel and lost my boat. :salute: BIG TY to all modders. |

Awesome guys! Thx
Planning an attack on an enemy Task Group which is around 50 nm away from me. I hope I manage to sink one of their battleships. Anyways I got a quick question: The 'straight run' dial for a Fat torpedo is it in hunderds of meters or in cables? |
Metres

No battleships, but a nice hit on a cargo tho.

The convoy was well protected and I got depth charged for about an half hour, but I launched some decoys and escaped. |
Welcome back Vince. :salute:
Good work. BdU is impressed. Good hunting. |
