My boss is a jackass.
Yeah, he is.
He sits on his backside in the truck shoving coffee and donuts in his fat face. While we work out in a cold rain, with a stiff Jersey wind cracking like a whip. I hurt my back, because the guy he hired (his brother) was too hungover to use a jackhammer without puking, so I had to use it... Well I called out tonite, and the only other guy on our crew (besides me) who can use heavy machinery without killing anyone is in the hospital with Pneumonia. Looks like fatboy has to drive the shovel tonite. I bet he fixes the heat in it after this. Freezing your butt of is always endurable when you spend all your time in the truck, on the phone. Eating quick check subs and farting. Have fun in the trenches for a few days you jackass. Anyone else have a fat lazy stooge they have to fake smile at in order to feed your family? |
He also hangs out on Subsim. YOU'RE FIRED!

She turns up next day and he's Hello love how was your day like nothing happen  If that aint Bioplar what is. :haha: He's a harmless old buggar but mad as a hatter.

How did you hurt your back using a Jackhammer?
|
I used to have a great boss, she'd let me finish on a Friday at lunch so I could drive the 240 miles home, start at midday on a Monday so I could drive back at a reasonable time (not the 5am starts I had been doing), and although my official work started at 0830 if I'd been running the bar the night before, or even on the other side of it, she'd let me get away with somewhere between 0830 - 0930. I'd also get plenty of time off for sport and study.
I used to cover for her, it wasn't all one-way. :yeah: My work was always done on time and to a high standard, I just had a messy desk. :D |

In both cases its down to the person using it not the boss...unless of course the person using the tool doesn't know how to use it in which case they shouldn't be on the job and that would be the fault of the boss. |
Even if you use the machine properly, you can still get a sore back and other muscles.
When I worked in Denmark in 1989 I was asked to beat a fault floor put up the floor was approximately 1500 square metres. Then think to stand with a jackhammer from early morning to late evening. After a few weeks you feel it in your back and his arms, etc. Markus |
