Has anyone ever stationed themselves in Hiroshima harbor during the morning drop of the A-bomb to see if it is simulated in the game?

Doubt it is modelled, someone would've found out a big mushroom shaped explosion in the files already. :hmmm:

I vaguely remember somebody, either here or at the UBI forum, did the very same thing but nothing happened.

Lol. if it was there it wouldn't end too well for you if you stationed yourself in the harbour...

With all the uncounted flaws Ubi left in the game, is this a surprise?

I don't know what you would be able to see. Getting that far in to Hiroshima bay is dicey with all those islands and very shallow water. Maybe in late 45 it is easier, but not early in the war.
