D-Day in Ohio
Was flippin' channels the other day and saw 'Combat Cash'.
:o I usually avoid all the reality, swamp duds, pawn screwers, axe boys, prickers, and stuff like that. I highly doubt I'll pay much attention to this show also. What caught my eye and my full attention was part of the episode involved Ohio. D-Day in Ohio to be exact! I'd heard about this several years ago and totally forgotten it! :nope: This year I'm going to go and spend the weekend. Throw a tent and sleeping gear on the Triumph and spend the weekend. :yep: I'm also going to build a few 'hedgehog beach obstacles' and get them sent up. Here's a link to thier site. http://www.ddayohio.us/about-us.htm |
Isn't Ohio landlocked? How do they hit the beaches?:hmmm:

Our northern border is all coastline on lake Erie, basically an inland sea. And our southern and some of the eastern border is along the Ohio, another major shipping route.*
While we are not on the ocean, we have our fair share of water access. *Of course, if Canada or St Louis decided to get uppity, they could shut us off.* Triumph hmmm? I may have to bring the MG-B then. I live close enough to make this a day trip. I'll have to remember to go. |
