Real Ship Names
 

Hi all,
I have the "use real ship names" option checked in SH3 Commander, but the names don't seem to be appearing in the patrol log. Any idea what the problem is? Thanks in advance.

Are you updating your patrol logs when you return to port?

They don't appear 'in-game'. SH3 Commander applies them after the patrol is over.
At this time you can go to the 'Edit Patrol Logs' function. You don't have to do anything but look at it once. The next time you are actually in SH3 you can go to that patrol log and it will be complete, including ship names, cargo type and crew numbers.

Well, I tried reviewing the logs with SH3 Commander, and the next time in-game; still no info.
@jimbuna- I'm not sure what you mean....is that some action I need to perform in game?

I believe what Jim means is: In SH3 Commander, after you have finished your patrol, click on the "Available Actions" button and then hit the "Update your personnel file". This will then add the names to the patrol logs without fail.
