WDAD British Isles Campaign
Hi shipmates, thought I would throw open a debate on a British Campaign based on Lurkers WDAD work. As you know Japlances Med campaign has been a bit of a breakthough in terms of a British submarine campaign and it is great. But the idea of a submarine war starting from the UK is overwhelming as it is compusive. Uptil recently the best description I could give my work is "ongoing hobby", a tinker here and there, trouble is, it's not getting done.
This mod has been running quite well until recently, when the idea of a third British base was introduced for a purpose of a intergrating a Baltic Bash, starting with an attack on the Brandenburg taken from the film We Dive at Dawn. http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/4...sandescort.png The first campaign runs out of Gosport and starts with a stalking mission off Heligo and into Skagerrak hunting for grey squirrels, very deadly. From the second base, Rosneath, things really deteriorate, where the Baltic campaign starts with attack on the Brandenburg. Moving onto Liverpool, where I started including Lurkers Atlantic missions by way of completing his unfinished symphony of a British campaign. If any modder would like to have an input into this work and help, please PM me and I'll send you a download link. All the bases work fine, it's the objectives that obstruct release at the moment. I'll post on further developments soon Thanks to Peabody and Japlance for getting me this far. Thanks to JU_88 and Keltos for the fine T Class, Thanks to Sailor_Steve for the Atlanic water mod, Thanks to DivingDuck and friends for the bouys mod |
