TC-bug or just a bad crew? >:(

Hi, first post for me, have not been playing SH5 for a long time. Maybe just two weeks but I understand the game and how things work etc.

Now to my question or what to call it. I was traveling up the east-coast of England in about 8 kts and 1024 TC. When suddenly I get an alarm that my battery is damage and then everyone is starting to scream for a medic.

But the TC did not go down to x1 so I had to do it myself. I then got more and more messages about damaged systems. I then decided to go up in the conning tower to see what the hell is going on:hmmm:.

I had a freaking destroyer ON my u-boat. I mean I got run over by it.:-?

5 seconds later it was Game Over.

Now to the question, is this some kind of bug that the crew didn't see it on sonar/radar due to the TC or is my crew just bad?

FYI: I use MFMC and MCCD if that does mean anything.

Thanks in advance.

What were your TC message box and radio message toggles set at? (The buttons in the upper right hand corner.) If those weren't set to "TCx1 at message box message" then that can happen. Also, be sure to turn off travel mode.

Did you get any screenies???:O: That would be a great one to check out!!!
If the DD comes up from behind your crewman may not hear it. Happened to me in SH4. I was TCing submerged (never a good idea) and the next thing I know is were taking bad damage from depth charges.
Also, if you TC at 1024 it's too fast for any crewman to respond, by the time TC comes back to 1, there was enough time in that little space it took to slow down to 1 for your particular threat to kill your boat.

No I didn't get any screens cuz I was so confused and then the "scorescreen" came up. But he was laying horizontal a little bit way up on deck.
