home-made submarine
I'd like to build a submarine in my car box, it will be propulsed by an electric engine. It's not impossible to do, but it's very hard. A chinese man have built one few years ago, and i hope to do it better. For now it's only a project on paper... For now.

Same here, and same still on paper ;)
Been doing some theoretical work on it during my more boring times and have (theoreticly) solved some questions on boyancy and balasts. I'll resolve engineering problems when I encounter them, which is not going to be so soon, since I don't have the resources (€€€€) to begin a project of this size. Maybe we can start a Subsim fund raising event and we'll build a working replica of a type VII :D |
it can be a very large project of many people, why not? unfortunately, this project will cost veeeeery much money, and i'm in italy. I found 2 people who want to start to built it.

I will do you a favor and call a doctor...

Why not go to Laboe and take the Type VII C (U 995) lying there from the shore into the water again? It'll cost you nothing but some manpower and a couple of minutes without being seen by anyone :D. I'd be the first one to come over there and help...

Plus, he wouldn't be the first one to make a submarine in his backyard. It's a complicated design based on simple principles. |
Make sure to buy one of these babies. ;)

Just do what Cuba, Iran and Vietnam have done: Buy one from North Korea.
