installing mods
 

i installed jsgme under the main silent hunter 5 program files. is this the correct place. also my mods folder is under this too. in simpler terms do i do it just like silent hunter 4. thanks skippers.

c:/ubisoft/silent hunter 5/ is correct, and the Mods folder too. :yeah:

ok cool, so far i have added the mccd mod. that lets me have more options of talking to my crew and the reduced tonnage mod. i tried to add the accurate flags mod but for some reason i cannot get that one to work. my question is now is there a mod available so that when i go below surface my crew will actually go into the boat and not stand out on the conning tower.

Ahoy Midnightrider, What is the mccd mod? I'm looking around for it but can't find it under that abbreviation yet.

yep its the more crew commands. this game is pretty good but you have to have it modded. so far i have the real insignia flags. good mod. adds alot of realism. have to start a new campaign for mod to work though. found that out. reduced tonnage. great mod. works excellent. salvo spread angle. this mod is great also. why didnt they add these controls when they made the game. that is stupid. without this control it sucks. cant spread your fish. easy installation. just follow the instructions. i was leary at first but went smooth. just take your time and i guarantee it will work. also have the more crew commands mod added. so far this is my mod list. and the game is 100x times better then outta the box.
