Maybe you don't know this but if you press shift+z you will remove the HUD from the screen. Press shift+z to re-enable HUD :up:

It is shift+z right you all (I'm away from my gaming rig currently) :06: :hmmm: :-?

OK it's just that I thought it was Num Del like the previous SH games.

USS Drum,

On my SH 5 installation number pad DELETE removes the HUD. It may be because I'm also using Church's excellent keyboard MOD. That MOD is available here;

TDW UI s and the sh5 patch would alow you to find your targets without the actual icon on the TAi ,, I suggest you try going blind and use the tools that TDW has made availabe .. SH5 has become the best game ever for me using the upgrades etc .. its to wasy to see the icons on the TAI and have your sub directed toward the Icons ,,

I sunk HMS Hood there but the game crashed before I could save.:wah:

Ah - now that is interesting:yep:

I do believe that the Hood is a named ship in a taskforce layer in the stock campaign.
If this is so - it could be that sinking it will cause ctd:hmmm:


Yes - The Hood is due to spawn 22/08/1941 so that it can be sunk by the Bismarck (looks like the date is a bit out)

@USS Drum - have you managed to sink the Hood without ctd?

Yes once before in a different career, got out no CTD. Well in this career was also trying to sink the Nelson too but then it ctded but this was not a ordinary ctd it went to the Uplay end game report thing.
