Claim: Chick-fil-A Cashier Identifies Asians on Their Receipts as "Ching" & "Chong"
I wasn't aware Chick-Fil-A had a dodgy reputation in terms of public perception; actions like this don't help them any:
http://blogs.ocweekly.com/stickafork...il-a_asian.php (I, myself, find the practice of asking customers to give their names as a bit of an imposition; it is especially irksome if the clerk mispronouncse or mangles your name. I don't mind being "Number [whatever]" and I have no real desire to be "chummy" with a fast food clerk...) |
I agree with the article, unless there is evidence that organizationally this was a policy, it boils down to one stupid employee doing something stupid.
I think people have already made up their minds whether they will or will not do business with this company. This story is really not going to change too many people's minds. It won't change mine. |
Definitely a christian oriented corporate structure.
they are even closed across the board on sundays. of course - i rarely do business with Chic-Fil-A anyhow... i mean how could i? the line to the drive through wraps around the building morning noon and night 6 days a week where i live. regardless of what they put on my receipt... my only beef with chic-fil-A (see what i did there?) is that they got rid of the old chicken salad sandwich and replaced it with this whole grain turd |
In fairness to Chick-Fil-A customer #60 was listed as Cheech...
