Newbie Mods Question
Hi all
Awesome help this site. Got a copy of SH5 last week and have been playing around with it for a few hours. Reading this forum while at work has proved interesting, but I need your help. As a newb to the SH series, I am a little overawed by the amount of mods available and have no idea how many I should be getting, or how to install them. From what I have picked up so far, I have to install JSGME first before adding mods. Could I ask everyone what mods I should be installing as I would prefer to learn the game with as many tools available as possible. I currenly have a list of things I think I should add, but I've only scratched the surface as I see there are many many mods. Real Torp and Deck Gun mod Multiple UIs for SH5 with TDC Better and Realistic Flotation It also looks like once I have my list of mods that I want, I should be installing them in a particular order. |
Start with these in this order . Then add some more .

@ von Kinderei, thanks for the welcome mate.
I am slowly getting the hang of this with a few mods installed. I am still however having issues with my targetting as it seems that unless I'm under 1km, I can't hit anything. Anyone have a pointer to a great thread about targetting, as there are so many of them, it's hard to see which one I am supposed to be following. I have NewUIs installed as a mod. |
